Vices Reserve Limited Edition “Cashmere & (Spiked) Cocoa” Box Review
Robb Vices knows how to WOW you with packaging presentation! This is their signature black box (with a handle) that looks almost like a big brief case, with the fine goods well-protected inside. Every item is positioned to give you a luxury experience upon opening.
When I saw what was in this box, I knew I had to have it! Cinnamon vodka? Gourmet hot cocoa? Cashmere? YES, PLEASE!
Included was a thank you card for your Vices Reserve purchase.
In the regular Robb Vices subscription box, a booklet is always included that tells the story of all the products. In this Vices Reserve box, there is also a booklet, but it is just a shorter version. (The November Robb Vices booklet had 60+ pages, and this one has about 15 pages.) The photography is always stunning, and I find I enjoy reading it from cover to cover. I also feel they are worth keeping!

Ceylon Cinnamon Glass Spice Vodka – Retail Value $45
Rare Ceylon cinnamon from Sri Lanka infuses award winning Glass Vodka to create Glass Spice, a nuanced and delicately warm spirit with light, earthy sweetness. Pure Ceylon cinnamon bark is hand cut, hand rolled, and sun dried specifically for Glass Distillery. In short, this vodka is DELISH! The cinnamon isn’t overwhelming, but more of a subtle compliment. I can drink this straight no problem, but it really jazzes up all the popular winter beverages like hot cocoa and coffee; and it is fabulous with hot buttered batter! Hot Buttered Glass
Created for Glass Distillery by Terry Blumer, Glass Vodka Boutique & Tasting Room Host
1 ½ oz Glass Spice vodka
1 ½ oz Hot buttered batter mix (see recipe below)Add vodka and batter into coffee mug. Fill with boiling water. Stir until fully blended. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
Batter recipe: Cream 1-pound butter with 1-pound brown sugar. Blend in 1-quart vanilla ice cream. Batter can be made ahead and kept in sealed container in freezer for up to three months.
The bottle is too cool as well, with this little ‘buckle’ clip that keeps the glass knob top secure.

I live for hot cocoa! And this one is super yummy. I am always up for trying a new brand, so this was great!
I really like the canister, too! It is nice enough to be re-purposed after you finish the cocoa – maybe filled with little candies?
It is a rich mixture that is just the right amount of sweet.
I immediately made the recipe in the booklet for “The Spiked Cocoa”, which is 4 tbsp. of Moonstruck Cocoa, 8 oz. of whole milk (heated per directions), 1.5 oz. Glass Spice Vodka, and a sprig of mint. I didn’t have the mint, so I instead substituted with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg! OMFG this was SO GOOD, I highly recommend!
This scarf/wrap is the softest item I have in my closet! Extremely warm and snuggly – I’ve been wearing it every day since I received it. I wear a lot of black, so this dark grey color is a great match for me.
I wouldn’t normally entertain the thought of spending this much money for a scarf, but it’s true – you get what you pay for. This cashmere is truly luxurious and I feel like a Queen when I wear it! LOVE LOVE LOVE.
It is also large enough to wear as a wrap, or use as a small blanket when I am reading on the couch.
So, are you as impressed as I am?!? This is a pricey purchase I know, but I felt it was TOTALLY worth it! The total retail value of this box is $207.50, which I think is pretty decent for $159.99. I was introduced to new brands that I really like, and I was actually looking around on the Filoro website for more soft cashmere goodness. I think I’m going to save up for these!
