My Meraki Box Review, July 2019 + Coupon!

It’s time for the July 2019 My Meraki Box review!  Are you excited?  Curious?  I am a jewelry junkie, and each month I get the privilege of showing off my favorite designer. My Meraki Box is a monthly handmade jewelry subscription that is not only unique and trendy, but also really high QUALITY.  There is a tremendous amount of attention to detail using quality materials, and their passion shows.  If you have read any of my other reviews, you know quality is very important to me – especially when it comes to my bling.  I was hooked after my first box, and have loved every single month!

Wristicuffs started as a small, homegrown business and is now an accomplished indie jewelry design company offering several lines of accessories that is based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.  Their pieces have been featured on display, and in the gift bags at the 2014 Golden Globe and Emmy’s GBK Celebrity Gift Lounges!  They have photos of several celebrities wearing their jewelry on their website, which is fun to see.  Wristicuffs designs became so popular that they decided to offer a monthly jewelry subscription box, and My Meraki Box was born as a way to offer fans new exclusive designs for a greater value.

“The Linear Collection” is the theme this month, and I’m excited!  They have the most interesting themes.

“This month we wanted to create a collection of sleek, linear pieces that can blend into your summer wardrobe with ease.”

The product information card provided gives you all the details about your new customized pieces from the July 2019 My Meraki Box.

Each month, subscribers are given a choice of material or color for one (or more) of the custom jewelry pieces in the upcoming box.  This month we got to choose from six different colors of European leather:

Choice #1 – White Leather

Choice #2 – Grey Leather

Choice #3 – Tan/Natural Leather

Choice #4 – Red Leather

Choice #5 – Purple Leather

Choice #6 – Turquoise Leather

Sometimes they change it up, but generally you can expect three (3) main pieces of custom jewelry, and one (1) stacking ring in each My Meraki Box; all packaged beautifully.

NOTE:  Every box used to include a bonus ‘Thank You’ item such as a fashionable key chain or bath product, but in May 2019 it was announced that they have now decided to do a sterling silver stackable ring each month as the gift moving forward.  Over time as you accumulate these rings, you will be able to mix & match them to create a personalized stack.  I love this change!

I chose the white European leather!  My jewelry collection is severely lacking in white, plus it’s a great summer choice – especially with my white t-shirt obsession.  There is a LOT of leather here!  In the spirit of the linear theme, this super cool bracelet is a continuous line of European leather in your color choice, with a sleek curved bar in a brushed sterling silver finish.

On the end of the bar (or “half bracelet”) is a very strong magnetic clasp that makes getting this wrap on quickly & easily.  Which I appreciate – there is nothing worse than having to recruit help to get your jewelry on.

Leather wrap bracelets are my absolute favorite thing about My Meraki Box!  They are SO my style, and can be dressed up or down.  I think of them as slightly edgy, with more of a unisex look – meaning not overly ‘girlish’.  No one has ever accused me of being a girlie-girl; even with my jewelry obsession.  I love dainty, femine pieces too, don’t get me wrong, but the signature Wristicuffs leather bracelets are BOMB.  This one is more on the feminine side due to the smaller cut of leather, though, and it feels flirty.  ?

You never have to worry about fit with this subscription, your sizes are recorded upon subscribing, and you can update your info any time.  I have large wrists, and it is such a treat to have bracelets that wear comfortably and don’t cut my circulation off!

Subscribers were given one bracelet in their color choice, but I have an additional color to show you today – the turquoise!

I think this turquoise is a great color!  It reminds me of the color of swimming pool water.  Tip:  These wraps look great stacked with beaded bracelets!

This unique lariat necklace is made of SOLID sterling silver, and the design is on point with the ‘linear’ theme featuring a trio of bar accents.

Lariats are trending currently, but I’ve never stopped wearing them!  (I still love chokers, too.)

It is the absolute perfect length, and doesn’t get fussy!  Sometimes lariats can be a pain-in-the-ass to wear if they don’t lay right, but this one is very flattering and doesn’t move around much.  It has a 2″ extender for versatility, too.

I adore this necklace!!!  When I’m feeling sexy, I like to wear it with a lower-cut v-neck top to really show it off.

Wicked!  Made of solid sterling silver, these post earrings feature a linear X (crossover) design and go perfect with the lariat necklace.

I will be wearing these A LOT.

Minimal, linear, trendy and just plain cool.  I don’t know how they do it; every piece rocks!

This is the fourth sterling silver stackable ring we’ve now seen from My Meraki Box; an ongoing ‘buildable’ collection they recently started as the bonus gift each month.

I love stacking rings, and the designs they choose work well together.  I love the pattern on this one – I wish I had 4 or 5 of these!  (Psst!  My Meraki Box team, got any extras?!?)

It only took me 30 tries to get a successful selfie that shows all 4 pieces in this month’s box in focus.  Kind of.  I tried.  I’m pretty damn happy with the ‘Linear Collection’ – it suits me!

Triple Strand Gold Beaded Stretch Anklet with Tassels  (Custom made by Wristicuffs)

So if you haven’t visited the Wristicuffs shop yet, I HIGHLY recommend it – they have a boatload of stuff, and they also do custom orders, which is becoming a far-too-often habit of mine!  I can’t help it, I have needs.   I needed an anklet – I didn’t have one!

This is a totally fun, totally BOHO anklet that makes me so happy!  I only gave them a rough idea of what I wanted, and they nailed it.

There are (8) silky soft tassels in all the bright colors of the rainbow loosely attached around (3) gold-beaded strands, keeping them together.  There are also larger gold bead accents interspersed, and it stretches – making it easy to put on and take off.

So beachy!  Note to Self:  Don’t forget to remove it before jumping into the water!

It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the European leather is a light metallic blush pink, and the sterling silver longhorn?  His name is Harry.  ?

So, this might very well be the coolest bracelet that ever existed.   It just works for me.

I love me a Hamsa, and it doesn’t get any better than this!  Obviously I’m obsessed with leather wrap bracelets, and this one was created using white European leather with black trim, and a HUGE sterling silver Hamsa Hand magnetic clasp.

This is fun to wear to yoga class – LOL!

Sterling Silver Open-X Ring  (Custom piece by Wristicuffs)

I love rings, and I thought this one would go great with the My Meraki Box ‘Linear’ Collection (reviewed above).  There are a ton of ‘X’ rings out there, but this one was really unique in that it is an ‘Open X’ style.  It is (of course) sterling silver.  I have some additional pieces to show you, but you’ll have to wait until next time!
