The ‘passion & spirit’ rafiki bracelets are a beautiful combo of black, white, blue, hot pink, clear and sage green beads, and they wrap around multiple times, depending on the size of your wrist. I have some pretty thick wrists, and was able to wrap them each about 6 times! I like them stacked together – no sharing for me! I don’t have any friends, anyway.
They are also long enough to wear as a necklace, but I like them better as bracelets.
TYPO Novelty ‘Peach’ Earphones – Retail Value $15 (I couldn’t find this exact item online, but I found a similar one here.)
These earbuds are compatible with your smartphone, MP3 player, tablet, laptop and computer, and have a Hi-Fi Stereo sound.
I thought the artwork on the box was cool, so took a shot of it. You’re welcome.
The peach design is so unique, and I’m also loving the color!
Cute, yet functional = genius! Decent sound, too.
They fit comfortably, but snugly in my ear.
GlowBerry (Glow-in-the-Dark) Mini Artisan Soap Bar by EmElleEm Soaps – Retail Value $3
GLOW-IN-THE-DARK soap?!? Yes please! This is a really pretty mini soap bar with a fruity/berry scent. You have to ‘activate’ the glow by placing the soap in the light for a bit, then you can turn out all the lights and get to lathering up! We have a vacation place out in the desert, and since we blast the air conditioner 24/7 when we’re there, we like to keep the lights off to conserve money & energy. I often shower in the dark, so, can you say perfect solution?? I think so!
Edgar Allan Poe “Nevermore” Raven Enamel Lapel Pin – Retail Value $5
Coolest pin EVER! I love, love, LOVE this! I just acquired a copy of ‘Nevermore’ by Poe, so the timing is a little eerie.

This is a bonus item! It isn’t listed on the product info sheet, so it is a fun surprise. These would be perfect for Tic Tacs or little breath mints!

Lollipop Fine Tip Gel Pen in Green – Retail Value $.29

This is a great little pen. I love the fine point (0.5 mm), and it’s perfect for journaling – which is what I’m using it for. 😉 The ink is black.
The total retail value of October’s GEN Y Itty Bitty Box is $40.68 – which is fantastic for a $15 box! Even if you could find some of the items cheaper elsewhere, you would have a hard time beating the $15 price with sales tax and individual shipping. Not to mention you wouldn’t have the fun of the surprise curation! There were 4 main items + 2 bonus items, which is more than the promised 3 items, and you could look at it like $3.75 per main item + 2 free items. Pretty sweet deal!
I really liked ALL of the items in this box, but I’m gonna pick the Edgar Allan Poe Raven Pin as my favorite!

OMG – this is so hilarious! How bitchin’ is a skeleton onsesie?!?
The big bummer here? It doesn’t fit me! Whaaaaaaa! It is a medium size that says it will fit the average girl or woman 5’3″ to 5’7″ tall – which is not me. BAH! It will be given to someone special, or donated to a women’s shelter. It needs love!
Skeleton butt! This onesie is super soft, and I like how the legs have elastic cuffs at the bottom.
Phone Clip Camera Lens 3-in-1 Set – Retail Value $10 (I found a similar one here.)
These are great!! I don’t have any lenses for my smartphone, and this one includes 3 variations – Fish Eye, Macro and Wide Angle lenses.
You simply just screw the lenses on and off the clip, then cap and store them in the little velvet bag provided.
I keep these in my purse – you never know when you’ll need ’em!
This is how it clips on, and it works with iPhone, Samsung, HTC (Android and Windows Phones), iPad, PC Tablets and laptops.
The fish eye lens is my favorite – hehe!
Black Cat Document Bag – Retail Value $8 (I found one here.)
The little ears sticking up is pretty cute, and it even has a handle!
As you know, I’m a dog person, but this little kitty document bag will be perfect to keep my tablet, and tablet accessories in! I’ll have to make an exception.
Plush Bunny Ear Spa Headband – Retail Value $9 (I found a similar one here.)
This is a soft & fuzzy plush headband designed to keep your hair back and protected whilst (whilst!) doing beauty rituals like face washing, masks, treatments and general lounging in the spa. I, personally, will now be a ‘spa bunny’, much to the envy of the other spa-goers. Or, you could use it as part of a costume, or general fashion statement. You do you.
I almost photographed myself washing my face with it on, but I’m a klutz and would likely drop my camera in the sink – so here I am just posing for you instead. All I need now is a black painted nose and whiskers.

This was my favorite box of the bunch; I thought the items were SO well themed, super fun and truly useful – even for this aging Goddess! I can’t decide on my favorite item in this box – I think it is a toss-up between the T-Rex Necklace and the Basic Witch pin!

These colors go really well together! I wouldn’t have though I’d like yellow and purple together, but it totally works for these bracelets! I wore the pair stacked together with a black shirt and the colors really popped. My personal recommendation is to pair them with yoga-wear (t-shirt & yoga pants) to add some style! They will stay on, and out of your way during a workout, or glam you up for shopping or laying around the house.
Bluetooth Wireless Speaker (Red) – Retail Value $15 (I found a similar one here.)
These speakers come in 5 different colors, and my stars and planets must have been aligned, because I received red – my favorite color!
This little portable speaker is loaded with functions – it has an inner magnetic, high definition loudspeaker, it has wireless capability via bluetooth, it has surround sound, it is a combination of a bass chip and a HiFi chip giving it the ability to restore music scene and reproduce the HiFi sound, and it also has a long battery life when you aren’t using bluetooth. How impressive is THAT for $15?!? I would have KILLED for this as a teenager!

It comes with a built-in travel handle so that you can clip it onto to something while it is in use, for maximum sound benefit. Sorry if seeing the red speaker against the red background hurts your eyeballs!!
It is small and could easily be thrown into a tote bag or suitcase.
The controls are on the back, and it comes with a USB charger.
I spend a lot of time in my back yard in the summers, and this can hang on one of my planter hooks. Party time!

How does she find so many amazing little items? Everything is so different and well thought-out; I would never find this stuff on my own. I would say my favorite item in this box was the Rafiki bracelet – I love the ‘Peanut Butter & Jelly‘ colors!

We didn’t get to see the GEN Y Mini Box, but we do have a GEN Z Mini Box!
The mini boxes (along with the itty bitty boxes) came decorated with a feather. I don’t remember seeing feathers on the main boxes, but I may have missed it.

Evil Queen Novelty Headphones by TYPO – Retail Value $30
This is the coolest set of headphones I’ve ever seen! The design is based on the evil queen in Snow White, and you can ignore everyone around you by turning up the tunes and giving off your queenie vibe. The sound quality was better than I expected – nice and clear. I use these while typing away on my laptop.
I mean, come ON, how can you not love these? Every woman is a secret evil queen – no use denying.

This is a well-made little key chain! I am hard on my stuff, so the sturdier, the better. However, I’m not much of cat person (It’s dogs all day every day for me), but I have the perfect person to gift this to! I didn’t mind getting duplicates of these bracelets in all the boxes I received – they can stack for DAYS! They would also make great gifts/stocking stuffers if I decided to give one up, but let’s not hold our breath on that.

How hysterical are these pajamas?!? The unicorn hood just cracks me up. It bums me out so much that I can’t get it on over my big butt! I would totally wear this. Small Black & Pink Unicorn Purse – Retail Value $10
This is a small little ‘bucket-style’ bag/purse with an adjustable cross-body chain to hold the essentials; like a smartphone and lipstick.
The sweet little unicorn detail on the flap pops up over the top of the bag for a funky & unique look. This one isn’t quite my style, but my friend’s daughter is going to go CRAZY over it when I give to her! Her whole room is decked out in unicorns, so I can’t think of a better home.
Our little unicorn friend here, is sporting a bejeweled button nose that doubles as a snap to close the top flap, in order to protect your valuables inside.
Pom Pom Beanie (White) – Retail Value $12 (I found one here.)
This beanie is da bomb! I love it SO MUCH.
Look how warm, and cozy, and cute, and stylish! It’s perfect! I also love that I received the white/cream colored one (I think their were variations). White reminds me of winter (instead of summer), you know, because of snow. That I don’t get in Southern California. 🙁 But it does get cool enough here for a few months a year, so knit beanies do come in handy.
Look at my brilliant idea here – you can put your enamel pins on your pom pom beanie hat! Doesn’t that look GOOD?!? I chose my favorite – the Poe raven pin from the GEN Y Itty Bitty Box – to show you my style magnificence.
Boston Terrier Socks by Cotton On – Retail Value $6 (I could not find this exact item online, but you can find similar here.)
PUCKY SOCKS! We call our dog, Jack, ‘puppy’, which somehow morphed into ‘Pucky’. In case you were confused.
I love novelty socks, especially when they have cute little doggies on them! I’ve been lucky two months in row now – last month I received Pug socks, and this month I received Boston Terrier socks! Are there Cairn Terrier socks anywhere?!? I need those!
These are just too fun, and I will be wearing them around the house on Sock Sundays!

Furry Pom Ball Monster Keychain / Bag Charm in Pink – Retail Value $6 (I couldn’t find this exact item online, but you can find similar here.)
Pom key chains/bag charms are all the rage right now! I like to dangle them from my car’s rear view mirror, or attach them to my keys. This cute little pink monster is sporting Elton John gold glitter glasses, with big googly eyes and heart feet.

Mini Wooden Cartoon Dog Ballpoint Pen w/ Loop Attachment – Retail Value $0.38
This little guy is cute & tiny – perfect for your purse, or to hang on a spiral notebook or journal!
When you are using the pen part, you can position the doggy head on the other end so it doesn’t loosely hang or dangle.
The total retail value of October’s GEN Z (Main) Box is $102.89 – which is excellent for a $44.99 box! Even if you could find some of the items cheaper elsewhere, you would have a hard time beating the $44.99 price with sales tax and individual shipping. Not to mention you wouldn’t have the fun of the surprise curation! There were 8 main items + 2 bonus items, which is more than the promised 7 items, and you could look at it like $5.62 per main item + 2 free items. Pretty sweet deal!
You have to admit, all these items are just too cute for words – and even though I couldn’t fit into the onesie, it will make either a great gift, or a wonderful donation. My favorite item in this box was definitely the Pom Pom Beanie – so freakin’ cool!
So what do you think of all the October GEN YZ Boxes? The only box missing that I did NOT receive to review was the GEN Y Mini Box, but I think you get the idea. 🙂
