It’s time for the May 2019 My Meraki Box review! Are you ready?!? My Meraki Box is a monthly handmade jewelry subscription that is not only unique and trendy, but also really high QUALITY. There is a tremendous amount of attention to detail using quality materials, and their passion shows. If you have read any of my other reviews, you know quality is very important to me – especially when it comes to my bling. I was hooked after my first box, and have loved every single month!
Wristicuffs started as a small, homegrown business and is now an accomplished indie jewelry design company offering several lines of accessories that is based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Their pieces have been featured on display, and in the gift bags at the 2014 Golden Globe and Emmy’s GBK Celebrity Gift Lounges! They have photos of several celebrities wearing their jewelry on their website, which is fun to see. Wristicuffs designs became so popular that they decided to offer a monthly jewelry subscription box, and My Meraki Box was born as a way to offer fans new exclusive designs for a greater value.

Each month, My Meraki Box will feature new exclusive designs, only available to subscribers. To ensure you receive jewelry pieces that you will love for years to come, you will be able to log in and select your preference of either leather, gemstone or metal color options. We will use this information to create customized jewelry just for you in a design and color you are sure to love! Each month will feature 3+ brand new Wristicuffs designs, exclusive to My Meraki Box. Every month My Meraki Box will contain jewelry pieces handcrafted in our studio with a minimum $100 retail value.
All metal is hypo-allergenic, lead-free, nickel-free, and cadmium-free.
To show our appreciation, subscribers to My Meraki Box will enjoy special perks. Benefits include special members-only exclusive sales, a 15% off everyday discount in the Wristicuffs shop, and a complimentary custom piece every year to celebrate your anniversary with My Meraki Box.

This little black box has greatly enhanced my jewelry collection over the last year, and it fuels my bling addiction quite nicely!
Meraki (v): to do something with soul, creativity, or love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work.
The theme this month is “The Nature Collection” – inspired by the simple beauty of the elements found all around us in nature.

This month brings news about exciting changes! Every My Meraki Box includes a bonus ‘Thank You’ item, and this insert explains that they have now decided to do a sterling silver stackable ring each month as the gift moving forward. Over time as you accumulate these rings, you will be able to mix & match them to create a personalized stack. What a fabulous idea – I am absolutely THRILLED! This month includes (2) stackable rings to get your collection started – YAY!
Each month, subscribers are given a choice of material or color for one (or more) of the custom jewelry pieces in the upcoming box. This month we got to choose from several different colors of embossed European leather:

I love me some leather! My color selection this month was used to create this lovely floral-embossed, European leather triple wrap bracelet. This piece is secured with a strong magnetic decorative clasp that is finished in a brushed sterling silver.
The best thing about My Meraki Box is the gorgeous & unique designs that are custom made to your size specifications! I don’t have to ever worry about fit, and their eye for style is spot-on IMHO.
I mean come on, this bracelet is cool AF, right?!?
I love how this turned out, and I chose the natural tan color to give me more outfit options. Win!

OK, first of all – I love threader earrings! Second, the open raindrop design is really cute, and something I haven’t seen before. Third, I’m digging the long, straight bar making up the back end, giving them a modern look. Inspired by ‘Spring Showers’ and made of solid sterling silver, these are a fun addition to the theme.
They are also super lightweight and comfortable, and will go with pretty much everything!
A My Meraki Box perk: If you don’t have pierced ears (or specify that you don’t want earrings when you filled out your preferences), an alternative item is included in your box instead. This month, a necklace was sent in place of the earrings called the ‘Hamilton’. Drawing from the same inspiration as the earrings, the necklace has an open raindrop pendant on an Italian sterling silver chain.

This is the first ring ever included in a My Meraki Box! Apparently subscribers have been asking, and they are listening. Making an impression right out of the gate, this solid sterling silver ring is a stunning BOHO statement piece with it’s dual feather wrap design. The metal is oxidized to accentuate the fine details, giving it a vintage vibe.
Smooth and solid, this feather ring is comfortable to wear, and doesn’t get snagged. I’m in love!
This ring is also slightly adjustable, which enables me to be able wear it on different fingers depending on my mood. I will be wearing it often!
A separate note was included regarding the gift this month, thanking subscribers for their support. The My Meraki Box team decided to include an additional sterling silver stackable ring to make up for a short delay in shipping! This is a testament to the incredible customer service they provide.

Delicate, feminine, and in line with the nature theme, these stackable rings are a welcome addition to the box!
I feel totally spoiled this month, and am having fun trying out different looks with all of these pieces!
I think I like the feather ring on my index finger the best!
